Winning companies meet one or more criteria:

Exceptional giving to United Way of King County
At least 50 percent of all employees' gifts go directly to United Way of King County, and contributions increase by at least 6 percent from the last campaign.

Increased participation
Employee participation increase by at least 5 percent, and at least 50 percent of all employees participate in the campaign.

Leadership giving
At least 5 percent of all employees give $1,000 or more to United Way of King County.
