Within United Way of King County, there is a special group of people who are recognized nationally as Alexis de Tocqueville Society members through their donations of $10,000 or more to their local United Way.

United Way of King County is one of the most successful United Ways in the country due to a community that goes above and beyond to provide solutions to health and human services issues that enrich the lives of those who are less fortunate. Our community is one that people in the Northwest are extremely proud with which to be associated.

United Way of King County is an integral part of the very fabric that defines the place we all call home. It takes a holistic approach to helping those in need by convening and working with partners in the community to ensure that the necessary services are available. In addition to being extremely efficient with the distribution of these funds, United Way of King County works to address these problems at their root cause. Alexis de Tocqueville Society members play a vital role in the leadership, support and money that enables Untied Way to function at its highest level and do the most good within our community.

We are proud to be part of United Way of King County. It's the most effective way we know to support our community. We hope you will join the Alexis de Tocqueville Society to create community solutions for lasting change. If you have any questions about the Society, please feel free to contact Major Gifts at 206.461.3201.
