Community Resource Exchange

September 11, 2009
9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Qwest Field Plaza, downtown Seattle

United Way of King County's Community Resource Exchange connects thousands of people experiencing homelessness in our region with the services and resources they need - in one place, on one day. Attendees enjoy a hot meal and receive free health services, haircuts, voicemail accounts, legal assistance, access to public benefits, counseling, employment training and more.

Get Involved:

  • Organize a supply drive. Help spearhead a supply drive for the Community Resource Exchange at your company, church, school or within your neighborhood—and make a world of difference in the lives of so many who so desperately need it. Simply choose an item from the list below and register.

    Supply drive items needed
    • Backpacks
    • New socks
    • New undergarments
    • Hygiene kits
    • Winter coats

  • Register as a service provider. We need your expertise. We're looking for service providers to offer information on employment opportunities and training, education, housing, legal assistance, voter registration and more.

  • Volunteer. We need you to help at our upcoming Community Resource Exchange on September 11. It's a day devoted to connecting people experiencing homelessness in King County with immediate access to the services and resources they need. Check back soon to register to volunteer.
