Please join us for this special conversation with Steve Lopez, author of The Soloist: A Lost Dream, an Unlikely Friendship and the Redemptive Power of Music. Mr. Lopez will discuss his experiences with Nathaniel Anthony Ayers, a gifted musician struggling with homelessness on the streets of Los Angeles. The Soloist, a moving work born from more than four years of Lopez's newspaper columns, is now a feature film starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jamie Foxx.

Tickets available at Brown Paper Tickets. General Admission tickets are $15 or $5 for students/seniors. Patron level tickets are $30 for preferred area seating plus a pre-event wine and hors d'oeuvres reception with the author.
The purchase price of each ticket will be generously matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. All proceeds will benefit United Way of King County and its work to end homelessness in our community.
