Sustaining Supporter Award Winners For demonstrated pattern of giving at a consistent level for the past five years

Skyway Luggage Company

Linda George from Skyway Luggage Company

For the past five years, an average of 60% of the funds raised by Skyway Luggage Company employees has gone directly to United Way of King County. Despite being a small office, the excitement generated by multiple management-sponsored events throughout the campaign is extraordinary. One of the highlights this year was indeed hot, and a company favorite, the United Way Chili Kickoff. For a number of years now, Campaign Coordinator Don Bodmer has taken it upon himself to organize the exchange of luggage for Nintendo game products given as prizes for employees throughout the campaign.

Macy's

United Way CEO Jon Fine and Kimberly Reason from Macy's

The number of donors and total employee giving has steadily grown at Macy's for several years. Macy's Campaign Co-Chairs Kris Ness and Kimberly Reason skillfully assembled a top-notch campaign team comprised of 21 campaign coordinators. A long and steady supporter, Macy's continues to lead the community in service and volunteerism and remains a member of United Way of King County's Corporate Volunteer Council. This year Macy's not only increased participation yet again, but increased their overall campaign total.
