FAQ's and Tips on using the United Way of King County Volunteer Recruitment Webite

How do I delete a contact from my Agency listing?

  • Log into your agency profile: http://www.volunteersolutions.org/uwkc/agency/
  • Click on the "contacts" tab across the top of the screen
  • You should now be looking at a screen with all of your contacts listed across the top and your opportunities listed down the left hand side. If you would like to edit a profile's information, simply click on the contact name at the top and change the information in the next screen
  • If you would like to delete a contact from your agency list, first make sure that contact is not assigned any responsibility as far as opportunities are concerned. If that contact is assigned responsibilities for an opportunity, you can change that by going down to the opportunity that they have a responsibility for and clicking "edit" on the right side of that same row. Then, assign a different contact the responsibility for that opportunity and click continue. Now you should be able to click on the contact's name that you would like to delete and click on the "erase this contact" link on the contact page.

How can I recruit more volunteers?
A couple minutes each week will get your volunteer listing up on our home page each day! Find out more tips and FAQs on future newsletters or attend our new Online Volunteer Recruitment training with United Way of King County
