Setting up a successful campaign

Our major fund-raising campaign season is just around the corner. You play a key role in our campaign and can make a tremendous impact on donations to United Way. Big or small, where you work can make a vital contribution by getting involved. Please join us as we all work to harness King County's generosity and caring spirit. Here are some ways you can help make this an outstanding campaign:

Stay informed

  • Sign up for our legislative alerts to receive up-to-date information about current public policy issues and opportunities and how to make your voice heard.
  • Sign up for weekly e-mail to receive ideas on how to get involved in ending homelessness - and to learn what we're doing to end homelessness in our community.

Get involved

  • Encourage people to participate in leadership programs like Project LEAD.
  • Promote volunteerism for programs: such as the Free Tax Preparation Campaign.
  • Consider linking your Web site directly to our volunteer opportunities page.
  • Spread the word by letting your friends and family know about the important work you're doing in partnership with United Way and about the great work you are achieving through your United Way of King County dollars.
  • Encourage others to give.

Invest in United Way of King County
