Free Tax Preparation Campaign returns more than $10 Million to Community

During its first eight weeks, volunteers with United Way of King County's Free Tax Preparation Campaign have prepared more than 6,800 tax returns for working families and individuals - resulting in more than $10 million in refunds returning to the community. Volunteers also help determine if a person is eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit or other tax benefits.

Free tax preparation sites are open until April 15. Check out the feature on the Rainier Valley tax preparation site which originally appeared February 21 on CityStream, the Seattle Channel's weekly magazine program.

Spread the word! Download the poster, flyer, leave-behind card and business card and share information about the campaign with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
