United Way of King County (UWKC) is requesting proposals to implement a specific strategy to address youth/young adult homelessness. Funding is available to support implementation of the National Wrap Around Initiative's model in two sites with existing case managers and two new mental health and chemical dependency positions. Up to $250,000 for FY 08 and $450,000 for FY 09 is available to support the initiative. It is intended that one award will be made to one agency or lead agency in a partnership.
