Results are now available from the 2009-10 Nonprofit Wage and Benefit Survey of King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties.

With compensation details from 367 nonprofit organizations for 157 job titles, accounting for more than 19,000 employees, this is the most comprehensive nonprofit compensation survey for the Puget Sound area, and more than a 10% participation increase over past years.

The survey is a critical tool for nonprofit leaders needing to make vital personnel and management decisions such as setting fair, competitive salary and benefit packages and estimating costs for adding new staff. The survey is an essential tool for foundation staff and other nonprofit sector professionals who need to keep an eye on nonprofit industry standards.

United Way of King County has produced this survey since 1992 in partnership with Washington Employers and many local nonprofit serving organizations.
