Ready to Rent is a tenant education program for self-motivated homeless and low-income individuals who want to improve their ability to access and maintain permanent rental housing.
Ready to Rent participants attend a tenant education training course, and upon completing 12 hours of training, participants receive a diploma endorsed by United Way of King County, Mutual Interest, the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound. Ready to Rent graduates will then receive a directory of landlords who see the diploma as a positive step toward responsible renting.
