United Way of King County's Out of the Rain calendar shares with you the photographs and experiences of a cross section of our community's homeless population. The photographs feature the words of people who are struggling to escape homelessness and get their lives back on track.

We encourage you to look beyond the stereotypes of homelessness. Pause and consider the faces of the people featured in this calendar. Their hopes and dreams are not so very different than the ones that we all share - peace, safety, strength and a better life.
