Community issues

  • In Washington, 1 in 18 youth aged 6-11 and 1 in 15 aged 12-17 exhibit serious behavior or emotional problems.
  • Seattle Public Schools Teen Health Survey found that 1 in 5 students had seriously considered suicide and 1 in 10 had actually attempted suicide.

We help:

  • Develop and strengthen skills in youth that supportive positive development
  • Educate youth about behaviors and skills that foster violence-free interactions
  • Teach youth with emotional and behavioral disturbances how to cope effectively
