Sample Public Service Announcements

Listed here are just a few suggested Public Service Announcements your organization may wish to use when promoting National Mentoring Month. You may also consider working with your media liaison in developing your own PSAs.

PSA 1: All it takes to become a Mentor is the desire to make a difference. Resolve to make a difference in 2003. Support National Mentoring Month by calling (local contact) for information on becoming a mentor.

PSA 2: Mentors have the potential to promote healthy development and growth in our youth by building positive relationships. Support National Mentoring Month by calling (local contact) for information on mentoring.

PSA 3: January 2003 is the second annual National Mentoring Month. Continue this good work by becoming a mentor and enhancing a child's life in our community. Call (local contact) for more information on how you can become a mentor. 

PSA 4: Make the choice to make a difference. Become a mentor. Support National Mentoring Month by calling (local contact) for information on becoming a mentor.

PSA 5: Interested in volunteering, but not sure that one individual can really make a difference? The fact is that one individual can make a significant difference in the life of one child. January is National Mentoring Month. Sign up this month to be a mentor for a young person who is need of a positive role model. Then, watch before your eyes as you transform the life of a special person. To become a mentor, call (LOCAL). Mentoring...one child at a time...giving hope. Call and become a mentor.
