The King County Mentoring Coalition (formerly the King County Mentoring Roundtable) exists to help mentoring programs and staff develop, expand, or increase the effectiveness of mentoring programs that serve diverse populations. The King County Mentoring Coalition strives for real results by ensuring all programs adhere to best practices and outcomes measurements.

The Washington State Mentoring Partnership's vision is to be the champion of mentoring in the state of Washington.  WSMP's mission is to promote and support quality mentoring that fosters positive youth development and academic success.

Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)

DSHS is part of a coalition of community-based organizations across Washington that are providing mentors for at-risk youth and recruiting suitable adults so that every youth who needs a mentor gets one.

MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership

MENTOR is widely acknowledged as the nation's premier advocate and resource for the expansion of mentoring initiatives nationwide. MENTOR provides detailed information for mentors, businesses and mentoring programs across the country.

The Harvard Mentoring Project

The Harvard Mentoring Project uses mass communication strategies to recruit mentors for at-risk adolescents. The Center's latest initiative, National Mentoring Month, was launched in January 2002. This annual month-long campaign includes a combination of national media, local media, and extensive community outreach.
