President's Student Service Scholarships
Each High School in the country may select two juniors or seniors to receive a $1000 scholarship for outstanding service to the community. In addition to the scholarship students receive a scholarship certificate, a letter from the President, and the President's Student Service Award gold pin. Must be a high school junior or senior who contributed at least 100 hours of service to his/her community within a 12-month period. No minimum GPA is required. 

President's Student Service Awards
All full time students from kindergarten through college who contribute at least 100 hours of service to the community are eligible for the President's Student Service Award Gold Pin and a Presidential Certificate. Students 5 to 14 who have performed at least 50 hours of service within a 12-month period will be eligible for the silver award pin and certificate.

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
This award is designed to recognize students in middle and high school who have demonstrated exemplary, self-initiated community service. Any student who is 11 to 18 years of age, or in grades 5 through 12, at the time of application, is eligible for this scholarship. The applicant must describe an individual community service activity or an individual's significant leadership in a group activity, that has taken place during the previous year. This must be completed and submitted to the school principal by October 30th. 

Here are the awards given: School Honorees- certificate of recognition from their schools. State Honorees- $1000, a silver medallion and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC for a national recognition event. National Honorees- $5000, a gold medallion, and a trophy for their schools.
