United Way of King County's Emerging Leaders bring caring people in their 20s and 30s together to solve our community's toughest challenges by cultivating the next generation of leaders, volunteers and donors.
Upcoming events that you should get in on:
- Second Saturday volunteer project, Nov. 8: Thanks and giving at North Helpline Food Bank. Keeping the theme of Thanksgiving and sharing abundance in mind, come volunteer to hand out food in the distribution line, help clients to their cars, check clients in and sort food. - Be a volunteer tax preparer: Emerging Leaders will be helping out on Tuesdays, 4-7 p.m. at the downtown library shift. Training is provided which means, anyone can help! Find out more.
- Take a workshop to develop your skills. Topics include governance training for nonprofit boards and facilitating group dynamics.
- Second Saturday volunteer project, Dec. 13: Make gift baskets for kids with the YWCA. Project will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Email Bevin to reserve your spot now.
