Emerging Leaders

Do you care about your community? Are you looking for a place to get involved and meet other people? Would you like to volunteer, network and work alongside like-minded peers? If so, it sounds like you're an Emerging Leader!

The mission of United Way of King County's Emerging Leaders is to bring caring people in their 20s and 30s together to solve our community's toughest challenges by cultivating the next generation of leaders, volunteers and donors.

Upcoming events that you should get in on:

  • Volunteer at the Community Resource Exchange. Spend Tuesday, April 29 helping to serve people experiencing homelessness. It will be an all day event, but it's well worth it! We're looking for 15 people, so if you're interested, email bwong@uwkc.org for more details.
  • Save the date for the All-Star Softball Classic for Homeless Youth on Saturday, June 21 at Safeco Field. We'll have a special Pregame Party for you.
