United Way of King County's Emerging Leaders bring caring people in their 20s and 30s together to solve our community's toughest challenges by cultivating the next generation of leaders, volunteers and donors.
Upcoming events that you should get in on:
- Be a volunteer tax preparer: Emerging Leaders will be helping out on Tuesdays, 4-7 p.m. at the downtown library shift. Training is provided which means, anyone can help! Find out more.
- Take a workshop to develop your skills. Topics include governance training for nonprofit boards on Nov. 13 and facilitating group dynamics on Dec. 9.
- Second Saturday volunteer project, Dec. 13: We have two projects in December! You can either make holiday gift baskets for kids with the YWCA or help Page Ahead reach their supporters by folding, stuffing and sending their newsletter. Email Bevin for more information and to reserve your spot now.
