Do you care about your community? Are you looking for a place to get involved and meet other people? Would you like to volunteer, network and work alongside like-minded peers? If so, it sounds like you're an Emerging Leader!
The mission of United Way of King County's Emerging Leaders is to bring caring people in their 20s and 30s together to solve our community's toughest challenges by cultivating the next generation of leaders, volunteers and donors.
Upcoming events that you should get in on
- Learn something new! We have four slots reserved specifically for Emerging Leaders at our upcoming training on group dynamics and decision making for boards of directors. It's a chance to network and gain applicable leadership skills. The training is Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 8:30-11.30 a.m. and costs $40. If you're interested, email Bevin Wong for full details and to sign-up.
- Network... and party! You're invited to The Sparkies on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. It's a party that celebrates top companies in our area and gives you a chance to rub elbows with some important people. Bring a plus one to help you network and introduce them to Emerging Leaders! RSVP by Friday, March 7.
