The January 25 event at Tavern Hall in Bellevue made it clear that United Way’s Emerging Leaders events are hands down the place to be! Hundreds of young professionals and local leaders gathered, eager to network and share their support for United Way of King County. With over 12 board members in attendance, proved that not only have we gained tremendous support within the EL community but with the United Way board as well. Thanks to support from Boeing, the evening’s sponsor, the crowd enjoyed an evening of mingling, playing games and enjoying tasty bites and beverages.

With the night’s focus of reconnecting youth we were fortunate enough to hear a few words from Emerging Leader Cassie Lee from PACCAR and United Way’s Vice President Community Services, Sara Levin. Cassie spoke of her involvement with UWKC’s Emerging Leaders Committee and Sara shared valuable insight into efforts surrounding ending homelessness.

A big congratulations to all who made this evening such a success, we are looking forward to many more great events in the coming months!
