The numbers are in for Emerging Leaders 365’s first year

What does a dollar a day, every day, for one year add up to? Well, when 450 young professionals join the Emerging Leaders 365 cause, it adds up to $164,000!

We were so stoked about participation for the first year that we just had to throw a party! Last week was our first-ever Impact Bash, where we thanked our Emerging Leaders 365 with food, dancing and a few giveaways to Ethan Stowell restaurants, all emceed by MOViN’ 92.5’s Brooke Fox at the funky Fremont Foundry.

That’s enough to help 164 people living on the street find housing. Ever tell yourself that a small donation won’t make a difference? Emerging Leaders 365 is proof that it does.

Some donated once a month or in a one-time lump. Others got creative with crowdfunding and organized fundraisers to meet their goals. No matter how they got there, they all donated $365 or more over the course of one year.

Aside from the thank-you party, being an Emerging Leader 365 comes with its own set of perks—on top of the already a pretty sweet ROI of knowing your donation helps create a community where people have homes, students graduate and families are financially stable. Those perks include free tickets to various United Way events, like Night Out for Caring or our Women’s Day panel.

We’re so inspired to by Emerging Leaders 365 this first year. We can’t wait to see what next year holds. If you’re curious but haven’t joined up yet, get started here!
