SUMMARY:Plant an Herb Garden - Volunteer Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:April is National Volunteer Month!\nTogether we will serve 365 hours of service in a single month. All over exciting opportunities that give back to the community! \nOn April 26\, Join Seed2Fork\,  A revolutionary organization that targets the communities affected most by type 2 diabetes.  Research shows diabetes is linked to income\, diet\, and physical activity\, and historical dietary shifts have played a role. The diagnosis disproportionately affects Black\, Brown\, Latino\, Indigenous\, Native American\, and Immigrant communities. \nCome be a part of the solution: Creating a fresh herb garden for the entire neighborhood to access.  Volunteers will: \n\nAssist with gardening tasks: planting\, watering\, weeding\, and harvesting\nHelp maintain and clean up the farm area\n\nJoin us in cultivating change—one garden at a time!
