DESCRIPTION:Come craft flowers and organize auction items on Saturday\, October 11th.\nWe are celebrating a continued partnership with El Centro de la Raza\, a community organization rooted in the Latino community\, as we work side-by-side to build a more equitable future for everyone. \n  \nCome craft flowers and organize auction items on Saturday\, October 11th for El Centro de la Raza’s annual Building the Beloved Community Gala. Take part in an exciting event that raises funds for 43 programs and services that benefit more than 20\,000 individuals and families across our region. This event will take place on at the Seattle Convention center on the 5th floor. \n  \nTogether our small efforts create a large impact especially in today’s political climate where the need is at it’s greatest with inflation and recent attacks against the Latino and Hispanic population. \n  \nTasks will include: Decorating the dining room\, helping set up the silent auction\, set up the registration tables\, and helping with the photo booth. \n  \nLet’s celebrate culture and fight toward equality as we help El Centro de la Raza prepare for another season of giving back to community. \n  \nSign up to our Emerging Leaders 365 newsletter for more ways to start your year of impact!

This time our generous sponsor\, Nordstrom\, is hosting us at their Southcenter location inside of Ruscello café. \n  \nNetwork with like-minded young professionals and enjoy locally sourced all-natural appetizers\, including delicious cilantro lime chicken tacos\, Kung Pao brussels sprouts and more. Beer and wine are complementary\, and we’re mixing up a seasonal fall mocktail! \n  \nYou’re in for a good night of rekindling old connections and meeting new friends. The night will focus on taking action at upcoming volunteer opportunities\, and how we can all give a little to make a large collective impact\, whether that be in sharing our time\, talent or treasure. \n  \nSo\, wear your fall favorites\, get ready to jump into our fantastic photo booth and plan for a great night! Double your impact by bringing a warm item for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
