Angela will speak about how she’s developed her leadership role\, where community engagement comes into play and why she chooses to invest her time and money with United Way of King County. \nEmail Hannah to reserve your spot. Space is limited to the first 50 people! \nAngela Stowell is CFO and partner at Ethan Stowell Restaurants in Seattle. After graduating with a degree in political science from the University of Washington\, Angela’s interests took a different turn and she pursued a career in wine sales before meeting her husband and business partner\, Ethan Stowell. In 2010\, Angela and Ethan created Ethan Stowell Restaurants\, after successfully opening their first two restaurants: Tavolàta and How to Cook a Wolf. They now have 12 restaurants. \nIn 2012 Angela helped found Eat Run Hope\, an annual 5K and culinary event that benefits the Fetal Health Foundation. With Angela as Event Director\, Eat Run Hope has raised over $235\,000 to date. Angela was named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2013 “40 Under 40\,” a list honoring young business leaders who excel in their industries and show dynamic leadership. \nAngela is an Advisory Board Member for the Fetal Health Foundation\, a Board Member of the Washington Restaurant Association\, a Board Member at United Way of King County\, and has been President of the Seattle Restaurant Alliance since 2014\, where she acts as a voice and leader for the local restaurant community. Angela lives in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle with her husband\, Ethan\, and two young sons.
