DESCRIPTION:This event is at capacity and registration is closed. \nWomen are 50% of the US population and hold around half of all professional-level jobs . Yet\, the gender gap is significant when you look at the female representation in leadership positions and corporate boards. \nJoin us for our next Speaker Series\, on the eve of International Women’s Day\, featuring a panel of women leaders from Amazon\, Expedia and Costco for what’s sure to be a lively conversation about women in leadership. You’ll get a chance to hear from top female executives from Seattle-based companies about their career journeys\, advice for upcoming professionals and the role that community involvement and philanthropy plays in their lives. \nSpeakers include Robin Mendelson\, Director of Amazon’s Physical Media businesses; Ginnie Roeglin\, senior vice president at Costco and founder of Journeys\, Costco’s professional women’s group; and Katherine Cheng\, Expedia’s head of corporate citizenship and community relations. The panel will be facilitated by United Way’s Director of Financial Stability\, Lauren McGowan. \n
