DESCRIPTION:As part of MLK Jr. Day 2021\, United Way of King County is hosting a virtual panel on Thursday\, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. to explore how philanthropy can be a way to move racial equity forward in the community. \n  \nEdgar Villanueva\, author of Decolonizing Wealth: Indigenous Wisdom to Heal Divides and Restore Balance\, and Gordon McHenry\, Jr.\, President & CEO of United Way of King County\, will lead off the virtual event with an exploration of the intersection of philanthropy and racial justice. \n  \nAdditional panelists from local organizations will come together and share their perspectives and experiences to further the discussion of how philanthropy can be a good tool to advance racial equity in the community.
