On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day & Beyond
At United Way of King County, we envision an equitable and racially just community where all people thrive. Not only do we have “King” in our name for our county’s recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but we also share his vision and make it our business to fight for systemic change year-round.
Each year, we step up to learn, unlearn, take action, and celebrate moments and movements that make a profound difference in our neighborhoods and communities. This year was no different.
We invited you to walk with us again to be a part of this journey in honoring his legacy on MLK Jr. Day 2023 and beyond.
After all, Dr. King did remind us that it’s only when individuals collaborated in the pursuit of equality, equity and justice that our society as a whole would become stronger. And at United Way, it is our goal to help perpetuate his vision.
See you out there in the community!
