Your gift helped provide first-ever shelter beds in the south end for homeless youth, job training for survivors of sexual abuse and reunification help for families of youth after a crisis. In addition, you helped:

• Crystal get connected to a 16-week internship—building skills while she got the support she needed in transitional housing.
• People in their early 20s, like Janelle, receive short-term rent subsidies while they’re establishing employment.
• Young people, like Charmane, find their passion after completing her GED and enrolling in college.

Because the needs of these young people are as varied as the young people themselves, your gift also helps make sure that their voices are heard. In January, we took part in Count Us In, a county-wide count of young people that don’t have a place to call home. Meeting with hundreds of kids around the county gives us insight into the individual stories of those impacted by homelessness.
