How Does Our Early Learning Work Compare to Other Cities?

By United Way of King County, on August 17, 2018 | In Helping Students Graduate

We’re dedicated to creating a community where people have homes, individuals can escape the cycle of poverty and students graduate. Last week, we were part of a national conversation on early learning—crucial to helping kids graduate— on Twitter. These monthly chats, aka #UnitedWayChat, give us a chance to share the good work done via Parent-Child Home Program, our support for Best Starts for Kids, and much more, but we also get to see what else is working across the country!

See what we’re up to here. Then, take a look at what’s being done at United Ways in Miami, Detroit, Hudson Valley, N.Y., Orlando, Fla, Abingdon, VA. and New Hampshire/Vermont. What are you most excited about?
