Hi ${Recipient.contact.firstname[0]!""},
This spring, United Way of King County launched Our Neighbor Fund, a $12.5 million effort to feed children and families and keep as many of them safe in their homes as possible. With over 16,000 people now facing homelessness in King County—about the same number as a sold-out Kraken game at Climate Pledge Arena—we believe that the best way to end homelessness is to prevent it.
In his latest blog, CEO and President Gordon McHenry, Jr. emphasizes why we need to move beyond debating the causes of homelessness and put an increased focus on providing more resources to keep people in their homes through rental assistance and eviction prevention.
