#LiveUnited

Dear neighbor,

Last month, federal cuts forced us to say goodbye to 59 AmeriCorps members. These were people who ensured 20,000 of our community’s kids got Free Summer Meals each day when school’s out. We may have lost their hands in this work, but the need is still there—and so are we.

Will you help families find Free Summer Meals on June 13? No kid should go hungry, and together, we can ensure that they won’t.

 A UNITED IMPACT

Washington’s largest free tax preparation program—United Way’s Free Tax Preparation Campaign—wrapped another record-breaking season! From January 21 to April 19, volunteers helped thousands of our neighbors keep more of what they earn and access critical tax credits. Here’s what they made happen:

  • 💸 $16.5 million returned to community members.
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Impacted 18,000 people, including children and dependents.
  • 📊 Directly served 13,170 community members at 21 tax sites.
  • 📈 Outpaced 2024’s total impact with more people served and more money returned.

Year after year, this campaign keeps growing, and so does its impact. Huge thanks to the volunteers who made it possible!
