MLK Day of Service

Martin Luther King Jr.

Thanks For Doing Something Great!

On Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, 1,600 people honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by logging 7,000 hours during our MLK Day of Service. These hours added up to $152,000 of labor, but everyone’s hard work and dedication was invaluable to spreading MLK’s legacy. These generous volunteers worked on 85 different projects in our community, from restorations to park cleanups to painting. Keep it up!

Continue Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy throughout the year through advocacy.

The MLK Day of Service has passed, but you can still find ways to volunteer in King County.
