Advocacy Camp: an introduction to lobbying for issues that impact Emerging Leaders

November 15, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

There is a myriad of issues facing Seattle and King County today – from the ones you can’t miss, like homelessness, to the nearly invisible, like childhood hunger. Young professionals have the voices that will shape the city’s future, and we want to make sure you’re heard! Join us to learn how to best advocate on behalf of issues and organizations you care about at Advocacy Camp, presented by UW Impact, United Way of King County, and YPN Seattle.

Connect with fellow young leaders and local & state elected officials and learn how to become effective in telling your story to those that represent you. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. – enjoy complimentary food and beverages while you network until the program begins at 6 p.m. Learn more and register today!
