This year’s Belonging Bash is at Marination Ma Kai on Alki Beach. Get to know people like you, who donate their time and energy all year long to make a difference in their communities. We’ll celebrate belonging to something bigger and grander than ourselves—Emerging Leaders 365 and Change Makers—all while taking in the stunning views of Alki Beach in the beautiful July weather.
Giving Community members are invited to share their talents with us on the mic in the form of spoken word, poetry, song, lyrical rhymes, or something else. Anything in the theme of “belonging” is welcome. After all, that’s what brings us all together at United Way. Think about a time you felt your impact in the community, a story that touched your heart, or a song or talent that you find inspiring. If you have something you’d like to share, sign up here!
Whether you are performing or showing up to deepen your sense of belonging, this year’s bash is shaping up to be a spectacular event!
We’ll also recognize some outstanding community members and the power of coming together to do what you can. And we see what you’re doing. Within United Way’s giving communities—you donate to help our most vulnerable neighbors, you come out to volunteer any chance you get, you learn about the issues, and you love connecting with others.
So, take in the sunshine with us and get to know your giving community as you hear from folks on and off the mic as we celebrate the collective efforts of these two amazing groups.
