Get transported away as we join James Beard award winners chef Renee Erickson and food writer Sara Dickerman for an Italian-inspired menu that features cocktails and appetizers from Willmott’s Ghost and hear about their new book Getaway – Food & Drink to Transport You. Chef Erickson will demo how the cocktails & appetizers were prepared and we’ll also dive deep into a discussion around United Way’s Community Relief Fund and how you can further the impact.
Tickets include cocktails and appetizers for two and a copy of Getaway – Food & Drink to Transport You.
Menu: (serves 2)
- Cheese & Charcuterie board- house cured coppa & bresaola, young pecorino, fruit preserve (vegetarian option available)
- Giardiniera pickles, carrot, cauliflower, onion, fresno chili
- Anchovy, fresno chili, lemon, toast
- Willmott’s Negroni – London Dry Gin, Negroni Bitter, Vermouth Blend (non-alcoholic option available)
Guests will need to pick up their kit prior to the event. Pick up will be available between 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, May 27 at Willmott’s Ghost.
This event is an opportunity to come together, build community, and raise funds for the important work United Way does daily to ensure people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable. We hope you’ll join us!
