Look down. What’s on your feet? Running shoes? Oxfords? Birkenstocks? Unfortunately, not everyone in Seattle has the luxury of proper footwear. That’s where you can make a difference as an Emerging Leader.
On Saturday, September 9, you can roll up your sleeves alongside 100 other Emerging Leaders to do good, network, and celebrate. We are partnering with Redeeming Soles to prepare proper footwear for people experiencing homelessness. Emerging Leaders will be cleaning and sorting shoes to prepare them for distribution to the people who need them most. Don’t be afraid to clean out your closet and bring a couple of shoes to donate!
And what’s more… you will join more than 12,000 do-gooders volunteering across Seattle for Day of Caring 2017. By participating in this Day of Caring project, you will receive an exclusive invitation to the “Night out for Caring” after-party on Friday, September 15 at Safeco field!
