Look down. What’s on your feet? Running shoes? Oxfords? Birkenstocks? Unfortunately, not everyone in Seattle has the luxury of proper footwear. That’s where you can make a difference as an Emerging Leader. Join us on Saturday, September 7, to roll up your sleeves alongside 100 other young professionals to do good and support people experiencing homelessness in our community.
This isn’t just another Emerging Leaders project – you will join more than 12,000 do-gooders volunteering across Seattle for United Way of King County’s Day of Caring 2019.
We look forward to showing up for our community in a big way with Redeeming Soles- Emerging Leaders will be cleaning and sorting shoes to prepare them for distribution to the people who need them most. Don’t be afraid to clean out your closet and bring a couple of shoes to donate!
