Emerging Leaders Women's Day Panel @ The Riveter

Mar 6 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
The Riveter
1517 12th Ave Suite 101, Seattle, 98122

Save the date for one of our most popular events, the Emerging Leaders’ Women’s Day Panel! United Way is teaming up with The Riveter to celebrate Seattle’s female change-makers.

The panel will be moderated by Angela Stowell, CEO and co-founder of Ethan Stowell Restaurants, United Way board member and Puget Sound Business Journals’ 2017 Woman of Influence. Angela will sit down with a panel of leaders who are kicking butt in fields typically dominated by men – from politics to media to entrepreneurial pursuits, you’ll hear from Kate Joncas, former Seattle Deputy Mayor and consultant at PlaceStrategic, Caryn G. Mathes, President and General Manager of KUOW, and Amy Nelson, Co-founder and CEO of The Riveter. We’ll talk shop on issues facing women in the workplace, career reflection, and community leadership.

The Riveter, a women-founded co-working space, will provide the beautiful event space, and Madres Kitchen, a woman owned and operated catering company, will dish up the amazing snacks.

You’ll have a chance to rub shoulders with other young professionals before the panel, and the opportunity for Q+A with the panelists. Light food and drink will be provided. Don’t miss your chance to network, celebrate, and learn from each other – register below to save your spot!
