Happy Hour & Hellos: Poverty, Equity and Race

February 13, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a conversation around racial equity and how it’s at the core of United Way of King County’s and Crosscut’s work in the community.

You will get a chance to mingle with like-minded peers, while enjoying free drinks and light apps in Crosscut’s unique Hive Media Lab.

Speakers will include United Way’s CEO, Gordon McHenry, Jr. who will share his personal story growing up in Seattle and how racial equity is integral to United Way’s programs.

Jen Dev, a Video Producer at Crosscut, will talk about Crosscut’s soon to be released series on racial equity along with a sneak preview!
