Young Professionals are Coming Together to Fight Hunger  during National Volunteer Month

Now is the time to help our neighbors hit hardest by the recession. For national volunteer month, we’re hoping to gather 60 volunteers to help prepare meals with Food Lifeline’s Hunger Solution Center!

Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to 1.37 million people facing hunger and more than 282,000 meals every single day. Let’s make the biggest impact for hunger relief during April, National Volunteer Month. Because we need so many volunteers: bring your friends and receive coffee vouchers for your hard work.

Volunteers will sort and repack nutritious food to feed our neighbors who may be experiencing food insecurity.

Meet Your Volunteer Leads

Kiki Roper in an office

“Hi, My name is Kiki Roper! I’m excited to lead the 9am project during national volunteer month and look forward to seeing you at Food Lifeline. A fun fact about me is that I recently became a real estate broker. I’m always curious to know about your favorite neighborhoods in Seattle.”
