This month let’s come together to ensure our neighbors have the warm clothes they need for the approaching colder weather. You can take part in two ways this month by either purchasing cold weather clothing yourself or hosting a drive and leveraging your own networks and encouraging them to get involved too. The items we’ll be asking you to collect for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in King County are, warm coats, warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, hand warmers, and socks. These items can be new or gently used.
Once you have collected all your items, you can deliver donations to Chief Seattle Club at 420 2nd Ave Ext S, Seattle, WA 98104.
Donations can be dropped off during the month of November 7 days a week, between 7:00am-12:00pm.
This opportunity is for young professionals as part of the Emerging Leaders 365 program.
