There is work to be done to keep the Meadowbrook Creek looking good. Invasive plants are creeping in, and volunteers are needed to help defend this beautiful natural area. Join Emerging Leaders 365 volunteers and YP Impact volunteers as we help out and learn lots!
Please dress in layers and consider the weather, sturdy shoes or boots, long pants & long-sleeved shirts will protect you from plant scratches. Bring raingear for rainy weather & sunscreen for sun. Also, bring a filled water bottle and your needed snacks. All tools, gloves and other restoration supplies are provided.
Where to Meet: Jobox in the Fir Tree Grove near the corner of 35th Ave NE and NE 105th St (10505 35th Ave NE) – (South of the Meadowbrook Pool Building).
Where to Park: Plenty of parking at the Meadowbrook Community Center parking lot or along 35th Ave NE. Also, served by Metro Bus 65 and there are bike lock stands at building entrances
