Rock 'n' Roll volunteering = Supporting United Way - Shift 1

Jun 8 2:30 PM-7:00 PM
CenturyLink Field Events Center
800 Occidental Ave S, Seattle, 98134

Keep saying you’re going to run a marathon one day? Here’s the next best thing— volunteer with United Way of King County for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and you’ll not only help make one of the biggest marathons in Seattle possible, you’ll raise funds for United Way programs just by showing up! For every United Way volunteer at the marathon, they’ll pay it back with a $20 donation to United Way!

Get to the finish line before anyone else on Sunday to help with gear check, race timing and ever-important post-race water, Gatorade and snacks! Or hook runners up at check-in the Friday before with goodie bags, runner packets and t-shirts. There many ways to help, so bring friends! It’s fun for groups and grows your impact, because the more help at the race = more donations to United Way! Running a marathon? Hard. Volunteering at a marathon? Piece of cake.

Note: we have two shifts to choose from:

Sign up here for the Expo on Friday, June 8 at CenturyLink Field Events Center to hand out runner packets, t-shirts, and goodie bags.

Sign up here for Race Day on Sunday, June 10 at the Finish Line to help with information, gear check, timing, handing out water, gatorade, snacks, etc.
