As the situation with COVID 19 continues to develop, out of an abundance of caution and in coordination with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation the decision was made to cancel this Wednesday’s Womxn Entrepreneurs Who Give Back Speaker Series at the Gates Discovery Center.
We think it is important to stay flexible and responsive to changes in this dynamic environment and apologize for this inconvenience.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is closely monitoring the developments with the global spread of COVID-19. As a foundation focused on global health, we feel a responsibility to take extra precautions to minimize the virus spreading unintentionally to communities and vulnerable populations. So, out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling this event.

If you made a $10 donation to United Way during event registration, we’ll issue you a refund to the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day with a panel of powerhouse womxn who are entrepreneurs and doing incredible work to give back to our community. We’ll be discussing their career journey as entrepreneurs, what philanthropy means to them and how we can collectively create a gender equal world.
Confirmed speakers include Laura Clise (Founder, The Intentionalist), Sage Ke’Alohilani Quiamno (Co-founder, Future for Us), Nourah Yonous (Founder, African Women Business Alliance) and our moderator Rebekah Bastian (Vice President, Community and Culture at Zillow).
