Happy Pride Month! This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first public Pride celebration in Seattle, and we are so honored to be part of continuing that legacy. We look forward to a month full of celebrating our identities, our belonging to the community, and our history.

We’ve put together some ways you can celebrate and embrace your community this month. Not only do we want to highlight events happening now, we also want to take this month to highlight some local LGBTQIA+ organizations doing critical grassroots work in our community.

LGBTQIA+ organizations serving our community:

Entre Hermanos promotes the health and well-being of the Latino Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and questioning community in a culturally appropriate environment through disease prevention, education, support services, advocacy and community building.

Lavender Rights Project elevates the power, autonomy, and leadership of the Black intersex & gender diverse community through intersectional legal and social services.

Queer the Land is a collaborative project grounded in the self-determination of queer, transgender, and Two-Spirit Black/Indigenous/people of color (QT2BIPOC) and the vision of collectively owning our land and labor.

UTOPIA Washington is a queer and trans people of color-led, grassroots organization born out of the struggles, challenges, strength, and resilience of the Queer and Trans-Pacific Islander communities.
