United Way of King County invites you to check out these three upcoming events.

• Creating Connections: Engaging Leaders in Change will be held at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center on October 10 at 5 PM. As part of our Emerging Leaders 365 Speaker Series, this event will feature a panel of young leaders representing careers from civic engagement to global health who will discuss how their experiences shaped their education and career journeys. • Community Volunteer Project: Si Se Puede, at Seattle Convention Center on September 28 at 10 AM. Craft flowers and organize auction items for United Way grantee and Racial Equity Coalition member El Centro De La Raza, a community organization rooted in the Latino community. The event funds 43 programs and services that benefit more than 20,000 individuals and families across our region. For more information, click here.
• Happy Hour & Hellos: Alaska Airlines at Alaska Airlines—The Hub on October 15 at 5:30 PM. Enjoy first-class appetizers while engaging with work across King County to help feed and house our neighbors.
