Positive Exchanges

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Generous companies like Starbucks, Alaska Airlines, AT&T, Microsoft, Washington Federal and so many more are coming together to help us make the Community Resource Exchange a reality.

It’s hard to appreciate the difficulties faced by people experiencing homelessness. The simplest things—dry socks, a toothbrush, a haircut—are out of reach.

Volunteers welcome guests with a warm smile and a hot meal. They enjoy conversation and free services, and leave with their own care package filled with small personal hygiene items that make such a difference.

By the end of the day, volunteers have a better understanding of homelessness, and those experiencing it have small essentials that make a big difference, including the knowledge that people care.

Play a part! Get involved by holding a supply drive to collect essentials like socks, shampoo and deodorant. Or if your company has professionals who could donate free day-of services like medical and dental check-ups, haircuts and legal assistance, sign-up to volunteer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
