Community Resource Exchange

CRE banner

Mark your calendar: The next Community Resource Exchange is Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.

The October 2012 event brought together more than 400 volunteers and 100 service providers. They enabled more than 1,200 men, women and kids facing homelessness to receive the services they needed most.

What goes into this powerful day? Organizations bring their services—library cards, hot meals, referrals for housing and counselling, connections to job training programs, and more—at no cost. People collect items like socks, toothbrushes, soap and deodorant for distribution to guests. Volunteers take a few hours off work to lend a hand. Get a feel for what it’s all about. Watch KOMO News’ coverage of our beloved CRE shoe provider, Scott Sowle.

Help continue our work to end homelessness by making a gift today. Find year-round volunteer opportunities on our volunteer page.
