Benefits Hub: Everyday Financial Tools

**ATTENTION**

While on-site Benefits Hub locations are no longer open due to COVID-19 school closures, Benefits Hub services are now available over the phone for students to connect quickly and easily to resources.

Schedule a phone appointment today with a United Way Benefits Hub coach to get connected to housing, food, and financial resources. If you require assistance to make an appointment or have questions about Benefits Hub services, please email us at benefitshub@uwkc.org or call (253) 254-5261.

Resource Updates

Due to campus closures or classes going online, food pantries may be affected. Students can find a nearby food bank for assistance getting groceries, or schedule an appointment with a Benefits Hub coach for assistance enrolling in food assistance programs. You may also qualify for SNAP benefits! Click here to find out. Alternatively, you can use this online application guide.

About

Are you balancing a combination of school, work, or life?

Are you working as hard as you can, but still having a hard time keeping up with bills and the rising cost of living? United Way’s Benefits Hub will help you get by, get ahead, and stay ahead, so that you can achieve your college and career goals.

We’ll work with you to “get by” by connecting you with emergency assistance and importaant income supports to mitigate whatever crisis you’re facing today. Let’s tackle it one step at a time so that you can focus on your other priorities.

Once you’ve achieved stability, we’ll help you “get ahead” by creating and building savings. And finally we’ll make sure you “stay ahead” by talking through ways to improve your credit score and building a plan with you to continue to build assets and ultimately reach your financial goals.
