Friends of Youth operates the only overnight youth shelter on the Eastside and is a great partner organization in United Way of King County’s effort to ease the burdens of – and eventually end – homelessness. In addition to shelter services, Friends of Youth also provides street outreach, transitional housing programs, and clinical services for young people currently experiencing homelessness.
In support of their work, we’ll be assisting them at their Kirkland location with work around the shelter. Join us and others to learn more about their programs and see the results of the ongoing partnership between Friends of Youth and Emerging Leaders.
