El Centro de la Raza works on behalf of the Latino community with services that address immediate needs like hunger, health, and homelessness, as well as programs that promote self-sufficiency and empower the community. They provide a multitude of opportunities for youth, including bilingual and multicultural services, afterschool mentoring, and workshops that deal with complex subjects like social change and community activism.
Their annual auction and Cinco de Mayo event are coming up, and they need our help! Join us to lend a hand with event preparation, materials organization, and stuffing gift envelopes.
