Earth Day Volunteering at Seattle P-Patches

A group of volunteers supporting a farm

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help fight food insecurities in Seattle! On Earth Day, April 23rd, we are preparing community gardens for an abundant season. Volunteers are needed to garden, clear pathways, lay gravel, and more. Together we can help feed our neighbors hit the hardest by the pandemic all while connecting to others in the great outdoors.

Seattle’s P-Patch Community Gardening program promotes United Way’s mission to fight food insecurity by donating thousands of pounds of organic produce to meal programs and food banks across Seattle every year.

The South Seattle location is already full, but there are still slots available at the north and central locations:

North – Jackson Park P-Patch
– Central – Horiuchi Park P-Patch
– PROJECT FULL – South Seattle – Hillman Park P-Patch
